Family Health Forum Introduces Parents and Guardians Who Care for Children with Intellectual Disabilities to Special Olympics The forum serves as a typical platform where individuals and families discuss various health-related topics, share experiences, seek advice, and support each other in matters related to the well-being of children with intellectual disabilities. In this regard, the aim is to enhance the support for all children, including those involved in Paralympic Sports, to receive comprehensive support and care. Stigma and inadequate care are among the greatest challenges faced by various Paralympic Sports athletes and children worldwide. This is a commendable initiative by Special Olympics Zambia and the Family Health Forum aimed at ensuring that the children and athletes of Special Olympics constantly feel loved and well taken care of.
