OYDC Zambia in collaboration with Chikondi Sports Youth Arise Foundation - CSYAF held a Kids’ Training Camp which attracted 30 children and young people from different parts of Lusaka aged between 2 to 14 years old. The kids' training camp was aimed at fostering teamwork in a range of running, jumping, and throwing activities, made up of a mix of fun relay activities and team activities where individual scores were added together to create overall team scores. Concluding the year 2023, the camp exposed kids to fundamental athletic movements, fostering a friendly and exciting atmosphere. Each participant emerged from the experience with a certificate of participation, marking the successful conclusion of a training camp that not only honed the children’s athletic skills but also forged connections and a shared journey of exploration and achievement.
