Red Arrows Rugby Club has begun their Klerksdorp campaign on a shaky note, having lost 33-12 to Eagles and 19-0 to Zimbabwe Cheetahs. They departed for South Africa shortly after defeating Green Eagles 36-7 in the final of the Lusaka Challenge, securing their fifth trophy of the season. Prior to the tournament, the Red Arrows coach acknowledged that they did not know how the teams in South Africa played, making the competition tough and tricky. However, they still believed they would perform well. The team currently in South Africa includes Israel Kalumba, Terry Kaushiku, Berthrock Sikaona, David Chimbukulu, Mwila Mulenga, Thomas Mwankenj, Ian Mukupa, Chileshe Mulenga, Ronny Shiku, Mwamba Chilufya, Andrew Kapapa, Gabby Mungalaba, and Alex Mwewa.
