The government, through the Ministry of Sports, has disclosed its intentions to extend significant aid to para powerlifting athlete Richard Lubanza by proposing partnerships with corporate organizations. Kangwa Chileshe, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, said these recommendations are designed to motivate companies to come forward and extend their assistance to Lubanza. This support will ensure that he has access to essential supplements and resources necessary for his training regimen. Lubanza, who is preparing to participate in the Africa Para Powerlifting World Cup qualifiers set to be held in Egypt, expresses his gratitude to the government for their unwavering support. "My target going to Cairo is to make sure I improve my ranking and do more than what I did in Dubai. And probably that should at least get us much closer to the 2024 Paralympic Games qualifier," Lubanza said.
