The Chess Federation of Zambia has extended their gratitude to the generous sponsors from the Zambian and international private sectors who have provided substantial financial assistance. These sponsors have collectively raised over 300,000 kwacha to cover the expenses of the young chess prodigies participating in this championship. The Federation further acknowledges their media partner, Financial Insight, and the Ministry of Sport, both of which have played a pivotal role in facilitating the participation in this tournament. The Zambian Chess Federation is committed to providing a comprehensive summary update to all private sector supporters, outlining how their funding contributed to the support of these remarkable young players. The summary will be shared shortly after the team's return to Lusaka on Sunday, 10th September.
