The All Copperbelt U14s and U16s festival was a successful gathering. The festival was hosted at Diggers Rugby Club in Kitwe on 2nd September 2023. This event featured five teams: Diggers Rugby Academy, Ndeke Falcons, Team Roan Antelope Rugby Club (Metal Boys), Mufulira Junior Leopards, and Chibuluma Rugby Club. The games commenced at 10 am and concluded at 3 pm, with 106 boys participating in intense matches. These young talents were brought together by dedicated developmental coaches, including Dean Zulu, Ricky Kanta, Lawrence Crown, Mukupa George, Funga Bob Wena Wena, and others. The event was officiated by four match officials: Zanji Siwale, Ruth Kabanda, Tanaka Hope Muchumairi, and Caren Mutale, all under the capable leadership of veteran coach and match official, Mwamba Christopher. Mr. Banda Charles, a member of the Zambia Rugby Union EXCO in charge of Development, graced the event and encouraged the young participants to prioritize their education and stay away from activities that could harm their futures.
