The Zambia National Futsal team clinched victory at the FUTSAL September Cup Poreč 2023 by triumphing in both of their matches. The first game showcased Zambia's dominance as they outclassed Montenegro with a commanding score of 5-1. The goals were netted by Wiseman Phiri, Francis Chinyama, Patrick Banda, and the standout performance of Boniface Ndlovu, who secured a remarkable brace. Undoubtedly, their second triumph against San Marino with a score of 4-1 solidified Zambia's championship run. This time, it was Wiseman Phiri, Patrick Banda, Michelo Kaampwe, and Francis Chinyama who contributed to the scorecard, proving their consistency and determination on the field. The individual excellence of Zambia's players shone through as Francis Chinyama, Jackson Chitungu, and Wiseman Phiri earned well-deserved recognition. Chinyama emerged as the top scorer, Chitungu as the best goalkeeper, and Wiseman Phiri as the tournament's best player.
