The National Futsal Team is preparing for the International Futsal Championship, scheduled to begin on September 18th in Italy, with the theme of "Integration through sports." According to Tarak Mehta, Chairman of the Zambia Premier Futsal League, this tournament in Italy will be a crucial test to assess the team's readiness for the Futsal Africa Cup qualifiers. Mehta believes that this international event, featuring four European teams, will give Zambian players valuable exposure, helping them effectively compete against the world's top-ranked teams. Furthermore, Coach Christoforetti has expressed his team's enthusiasm and readiness to compete in the Championship.
