In a pre-match interview, the Young Nkwazi head coach discussed the upcoming encounter between Petauke United and Young Nkwazi in the semi-finals of the Fashion Sakala Jr. Eastern Province Cup. "Petauke Utd is a legendary side in the province but in terms of play we're a better side than them" said Keegan Mwape. Mwape claims his team only respects the Petauke United brand when they meet in a league or cup game. And Petauke Utd head coach Michael Kaposa believes his team will be up to the challenge against a very good Young Nkwazi side. The former Petauke United player, often known as 'Coach Giggs', revealed that the peace of mind they have a day before meeting with the landlords has helped them get by. "Petauke Utd is a big side--we discovered them in the league, and we can't be a bigger side just because we've been defeating them. On the pitch, we don't consider ourselves small, which is why we've beaten them. And today's 90-minute game will tell, and I call on our fans to accept whatever result," Mwape said. "Young Nkwazi is a solid team; they have a good squad. For your information, this is not a league game, but rather a cup game with two outcomes. We'll be up to the task and cautious in our approach today because it's a local derby. We call on the 12th player--our fans--to support us throughout the game," Kaposa said. The pair stated this in a pre-match interview ahead of today's Provincial Fashion Sakala Jr Cup event semi-final encounter against local rivals Petauke Utd. The match will begin at 15:00hrs and will be preceded by a battle between Mika FC and Young Mfuwe Resource Centre at 13:00hrs. All games are played at DK Stadium with entry free to all supporters.
