Zambia men's national team coach Avram Grant has expressed his delight at the performance of the women's team ahead of their crucial Olympic qualifiers against Morocco. Grant, whose men's team is set for a four-nation tournament in Malawi, acknowledged the difference between the men's and women's games but offered his full support to the Copper Queens. "We are very happy that the women are performing well," Grant said. "I was happy with the way they performed in the last game (against Ghana)..." "[but] it's a women's game and it is different from the men's game. Everything is different..." Grant continued, "...I will use this occasion to wish them all the best in the last phase and hope that they qualify for the Olympic Games. I want us to go to the Olympic Games like we went to the World Cup. It was fun." With Zambia boasting two of the world's most expensive players in Barbara Banda and Rachel Kundananji, Grant expressed his hope that the men's team can follow suit in the future. "I hope one day we will have players from the men's side who will be the most expensive in the world after Messi and Ronaldo," Grant admitted. "[But] Barbra and Rachel are very good players. I saw them train, they are very good professionals and I think it is good for us to have players playing in the top leagues. America is in the top-11 in the world." Looking towards the future of Zambian football, Grant emphasized the need for more players to step up. "I hope more players will play, we have a lot of good players," he said. "We have seen the national team, it is one of the best in the world. I hope they will continue to score goals and perform well. We have two games remaining and we can be at the Olympics again."
