In a recent announcement from the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Eastern Province, the much-anticipated 2024 January Transfer Window is officially open, having commenced on January 1st and set to conclude on January 31st. All clubs across divisions have been urged to promptly initiate the registration process for players and officials. A particular emphasis is placed on Division Three and Women's League clubs, as they are reminded to ensure the comprehensive registration of their players without any delays. An important directive from the Association stipulates that, effective January 31st, 2024, no unregistered technical and club officials will be permitted on the technical bench. This measure aims to uphold the integrity of the registration process. Despite these regulations, the Association made known that registration fees remain unchanged, providing clubs with a consistent framework for participation in the transfer window. For clubs encountering any challenges during the registration process, prompt communication has been encouraged. Looking ahead, FAZ Eastern Province assured clubs that card printing will be facilitated shortly after the closure of the transfer window, streamlining the administrative processes for a seamless transition into the upcoming football season.
